Welcome to Sight and Sound, a blog which will cover the best and worst of the arts in Britain and abroad.
As a former features writer for a national daily newspaper in Japan, I wrote about music, theatre, film, art and lifestyle, so I hope to reflect my interest in these areas in this blog. Also, I will include comments on other subjects from time to time, such as football, television, radio and, well, anything that happens to inspire me.
To kick things off, I'm going to post some of the articles I wrote for The Daily Yomiuri from 2005 to 2010, so any comments would be more than welcome.
